The Skeleton Key

Skeleton Key is one of my personal favourite thriller/horror films. It's about a hospice nurse who decides to work for this old couple at their old plantation home, as she's sick of her daily job. But shortly after her stay there she starts to learn of the mysteries surrounding the old plantation, it starts to grab her and drag her into the dark world of the plantation's past.

The plot of this movie is amazing, and constantly twists and turns so you never really know what's going to happen next. Kate Hudson fulfills her role to the full extent I personally don't think i've ever seen before from her acting. All of the other supporting characters give a utter amazing performance too.

Although a little slow in the beginning the rest of this movie never makes you stop, and keeps you rocking on the edge of your seat, freaked about what's going to happen next. Not to mention the ending is something you never expect. But of course I'm not going to tell you how the movie ends though because I personally believe that's something you need to see for
yourself!!!

Hi Holley,

I'm really glad to hear such great things about the movie "The Skeleton Key". I've wanted to watch that for some time now. After hearing your good review I think that I'll go out and rent it tonight.

I also love watching a good horror movie. I always have.

Do you have any other favorite horror or thriller?

Thanks.

I have quite a thing for horror and thrillers, but the problem with alot of recent films is simply that they're all remakes most of the time.

Some suggestions for good remakes i would have to say would be Amittyville Horror.

Some other films you may enjoy if you haven't seen them yet are; House of a Thousand Corpses, Number 23, and personally Jeepers Creepers always scared the crap outta me!
